Patrick Brown Claimed: “Kathleen Wynne doesn’t want to talk about her record”
Fact: Premier Kathleen Wynne is holding open public town halls across the province to talk about her record. Patrick Brown has refused to speak with media in cities where his party is under criminal investigation.

Patrick Brown claimed: “The police associations that made it very clear that they don’t have the resources and the equipment to keep our streets safe, the government hasn’t been speaking to them”
Fact: The entire time we’ve been moving forward with cannabis legalization we’ve been working closely with our police associations – in fact we held an enforcement summit with our policing partners in order to hear firsthand the challenges they’ll face and the resources they’ll need when cannabis is legalized.
Patrick Brown claimed: “She doesn’t want to talk about the fact we’re a have not province”
Fact: In 2017-18, it is estimated that Ontarians will contribute approximately $7.1 billion to the Equalization program while Ontario will only receive roughly $1.4 billion in return — representing a net contribution of $5.7 billion — the highest of all provinces.
And maybe Brown is having trouble holding his caucus back, because recently his own MPP, Michael Harris, told CBC that “we are the economic engine still of Canada.”

Fact: The FAO actually said that according to the accounting presentation we’ve been using for the past 16 years the budget is balanced and there is in fact a small surplus. The PC’s also based their entire platform on our numbers.
Patrick Brown claimed: “the fact that you’ve got expenses for raccoon traps and scuba gear is ridiculous”
Fact: Every single one of these expenses was completely unacceptable and has been repaid. One generator responsible for two-thirds of ineligible costs was fined an additional $10 million.
